I’m asking for your help – “Like” Show Hope to Help Orphans!

Hey everyone – I want share wonderful news happening at Show Hope and I’m so excited to share it with you! An anonymous donor has agreed to give Show Hope up to $20, viagra 000, cure but we need YOUR help! For every 5, advice 000 new “Likes” on the Show Hope Facebook page, $5,000 will be donated to Show Hope…up to $20,000 through July 31st. This is amazing!

The money that Show Hope receives from this effort will help bring orphans into families through adoption aid grants and will help provide specialized care for orphans with special needs through Show Hope Special Care Centers, such as Maria’s Big House of Hope.

I cannot say enough how thrilled all of us at Show Hope are about this opportunity, and we can’t wait to SEE how you will engage your friends in orphan care through sharing about and “liking” Show Hope. Be sure to visit the Facebook page often too because over the next month, more pictures will be posted, as will status updates and blogs to help new followers learn more about Show Hope. All of this energy will help current followers redouble their efforts to care for orphans too.

Introducing Dr. Chapman

Mr. Steven Curtis Chapman is now known as Dr. Steven Curtis Chapman!  Last week, case Dr. Chapman received an honorary Doctorate of Music degree from his alma mater, Anderson University. During the ceremony held last week on the Anderson, Indiana campus, Dr. Chapman also delivered a commencement speech and performed in front of the 2011 graduating class.

She is 8. In memory of Maria, the silliest goober I know!

I want to take this time to say a personal thanks to a special group of surgeons and medical staff that are at Maria’s Big House of Hope right now.  How awesome that in a place named after our little heavenly one, pharmacy that there are medical staff giving of their time and talents to help offer life giving surgeries to the little ones residing in Maria’s Big House of Hope.  You honor my sweet Maria and her birthday by doing what you do.  I remain humbled and grateful that you would help “set the lonely in families” by doing your part.  Many of these little ones will be shown the love of adoption and of a family because of what you are doing.  THANK YOU for such a gift on this special Birthday.

And to you who read this….  I thank you for your love and you support and your prayers for the Chapman family.  As a mom, it has been all most 3 years of walking through an ugly dark forrest.  I am eternally grateful for you!  You honor our Maria by your support of us.  We all love you dearly.  For those of you walking through your own tragic story….  We pray for you….we pray God’s mercy to be new every day.


We love you to infinity and beyond… and we will always.  We can’t wait to SEE you again….

Showing Hope at the 42nd Annual GMA Dove Awards!

Last week at the 42nd Annual Dove Awards, treat  Steven Curtis and Mary Beth Chapman were honored by the presentation of the Gospel Music Channel’s first-ever Uplift Someone Award. Presented to the Chapmans by Denver Broncos QB Tim Tebow, click this award recognizes artists who have encouraged people across the nation to make the world a better place by inspiring acts of positivity and kindness. The award celebrated the work the Chapmans have accomplished through Show Hope on behalf of the 140 million orphans in the world.

If you talk to a Show Hope staffer, capsule one of the most inspiring experiences of working there is getting to meet families who have received Show Hope adoption aid grants. In that spirit, several Show Hope families joined the Chapmans onstage as they accepted the Uplift Someone Award. Those who watched the Awards show or were there in the audience saw first hand how Show Hope sponsors and donors truly change the lives of orphans who are able to come into loving families!

In a touching moment for everyone in attendance, these beautiful families also joined in the singing of Third Day’s “Children of God.” Mark Hall (of Casting Crowns), Mac Powell (of Third Day), and Steven Curtis Chapman, all who are adoptive dads, came together for this very special musical performance.
